This little security gadget that Engadget deems “genius” projects light like that of a television into a room to emulate someone watching tv. Now I am always looking for cooler and better security systems for when I am away from home, and this little guy priced around $49.95 almost lives up to Engadget’s label of “genius” however I must file this under slightly stupid for simply one reason. If it cost’s as much as a small TV, takes up the space of a small TV, It might as well BE a small TV. I’m sure it is more energy efficient however I don’t imagine a small TV requiring mass amounts of energy, plus one would get much more use from a small garage TV rather than a box of light. Nice try but this one just doesn’t make the cut in our book. Link….
