Yet another almost genius invention to file in the slightly stupid/useless category. We will give this one an E for effort however we must chalk this one up as elegant but useless. We do this for two main reasons.
1) Who in the hell cannot finish a 12 oz. soda?
2) Most importantly, Have you ever seen the top of a soda can? If one were to use this little device, you might as well grab a little dirt and throw it down in there while you are at it to help sterilize it. Just imagine that after one swig off that puppy, all that soda is going back all over the top of the can and back into your drink. Ewwwwwww
Gizmodo has a write up on it and if anything check it out just for the hilarious comments.Link….

This little security gadget that Engadget deems “genius” projects light like that of a television into a room to emulate someone watching tv. Now I am always looking for cooler and better security systems for when I am away from home, and this little guy priced around $49.95 almost lives up to Engadget’s label of “genius” however I must file this under slightly stupid for simply one reason. If it cost’s as much as a small TV, takes up the space of a small TV, It might as well BE a small TV. I’m sure it is more energy efficient however I don’t imagine a small TV requiring mass amounts of energy, plus one would get much more use from a small garage TV rather than a box of light. Nice try but this one just doesn’t make the cut in our book. Link….

One must always be weary when confronted with news of such a product. I mean whats next, a food replicator like those of Star Trek. Perhaps. We are after all living in a time where technological breakthroughs are a daily occurrence and If this new product from Xziex (now in pre-launch) called the atmospheric water generator can live up to its name, It could litteraly solve all of the drinking water issues of the world. Unless that is to say that if everyone were to have one, we risk the possibility of Global Drying. Link….<

Now this Is what I’m talking about.
Another geeky gadget for the music lover
. Never mind those annoying and nerdy looking mono bluetooth headsets. If you are gonna look geeky, make sure you do it all of the way with something like the
Motorola S9-HD Wireless Stereo headphones. With an integrated microphone, you can now have stereo quality sound in your ears while still being inseparably attached to that cellular device you love so much.
It claims to have 6 hours of music playback, 8 hours of talk time and 8 days of standby all with a modest price of $129. All of you Roger Wilco-ers out there should drool over this little baby. Link…..

Put down those milk bones you have been using to train your dog to fetch you beers from the cooler and check out this new product from Interactive toy concepts. This puppy appears to have all the fun that one would expect from an RC device while simotaniously having a bottom line purpose. Beer Convience. Which is why I would never be so bold as to consider any thing as serious as a beer fetcher a toy. It runs on 8 C batteries and claims to last up to 6 hours, which should be more than enough to get the job done. Gizmodo has a great review on this product. Link…..

I may just have to append a small prayer to the end of grace this evening in hopes that this little bad boy becomes a reality. This neat little songwriters notepad which Yamaha only references as “Key for Journey” is an ingenious modern update to those old classic toy pianos some of us had as a kid. But with what I’m certain will contain the technology of modern day and the convenience of an integrated notepad, this little gadget is a sure winner in my book. Hopefully Yamaha will have the foresight to integrate a MIDI interface into it for all us music geeks out there. Little is known of this but rest assured that we have our tracking eye on this one.
