These days there are so many great free virtual instruments and effects showing up all over the net so we have decided to create a new category called “Free VST“. The newest addition is TAL-BassLine 1.0.1, a free virtual bass synth from TAL(Togu Audio Live). TAL-BassLine generates phat bass sounds and weighs in light at only about 1MB. For Windows and Mac. Also be sure and stop by the manufacture’s homepage where they have many more free high quality effects plugins as well.

Freemusicsoftware.org has to be about one of the sweetest sites we have come across in a while. They have cataloged one of the largest collections of free VST Instruments, VST Effects, Samples, and Music Software I have ever seen. Just their Virtual Instrument links archive alone is worth checking out. Most of the Virtual Instruments I have checked out thus far seem to be very high, professional quality and some are even comparable to the sounds I can get from my Native Instruments collection. One of my favorites so far is the MiniMogueVA which is a classic MiniMoog emulator. Check out the Links below.
