Hack a Parking Garage
Thursday, August 14th, 2008This is a cool and informative video I picked up at Hackaday on how to trip a parking garage’s proximity sensor for getting in and out of the garage. Materials needed are one car and a soda can. Hackaday also mentions that a magnet from a hard drive may work just as well, if not better in some situations. Check out the video below.

A while back we posted an article titled “Fight Big Brother with an Invisible Mask” which involved embedding some IR LEDs into a baseball cap to conceal your face to digital and video cameras. Well here is then next step in countering big brother’s tactics. Infrared Sun Glasses. This makes use of the very same concept as the cap but instead, this time it is with a pair of sunglasses. Star Wars Music from a Floppy Drive

It seems like some sort of hack that controls the speed of the floppy drive motor to create different pitches hence playing a little tune from Star Wars.
