These days, it seems there are daily links popping up all over the net of “check this out on Google Earth” or “Go here on Google Maps”. With Google’s extensive catalog of satellite imagery and now, ground level images, there are literally millions, if not billions of things to see. But what about the things you can’t see, or should I say, the things you are not allowed to see. Well ITsecurity.com has put together a list of links to 51 sights that are off-limits. Go there now…..

A while back we posted an article titled “Fight Big Brother with an Invisible Mask” which involved embedding some IR LEDs into a baseball cap to conceal your face to digital and video cameras. Well here is then next step in countering big brother’s tactics. Infrared Sun Glasses. This makes use of the very same concept as the cap but instead, this time it is with a pair of sunglasses. Those who control the present control the past.
-George Orwell - 1984
There is talk in the UK government to implement a database that will store the details of every phone call made, every email sent and every web page visited by British citizens in an act of anti-terrorism. Another perfect example of how global terrorism is forcing George Orwell’s prediction of the future to a frightening reality. All the while a 15-year-old in the UK is facing prosecution for using the word ‘cult’ to describe the Church of Scientology at an anti-Scientology demonstration in London earlier this month which “violates” the Public Order Act, which ‘prohibits signs which have representations or words which are threatening, abusive or insulting. I think ol’ George about hit it right on the money. Perhaps he was off by about 30 years or so however, say he was dead on, you probably wouldn’t even know anyway. Watch out for those “tele-screens”!
